EXPERT Q&A

Q: What are some of your proudest moments thus far in your career?

What our experts say:

Receiving the Community Service Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the charitable surgery I do for babies born with cleft lip and palate deformities, as well as for women disfigured by domestic violence. This award is given to one surgeon each year. I have also been named “Best Facial Plastic Surgeon in America” by Castle Connolly’s Guide to Top Doctors and Harper’s Bazaar. Additionally, I summited Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Elbrus, the tallest mountains in Africa and Europe respectively, to raise money for the treatment of underprivileged children born with facial deformities.
