Over the past few months, we’ve seen launches from several brands looking to break into this space with their own line of toothbrushes and toothpastes—one even has its own mouthwash. Because dentists recommend changing your toothbrush every three months, and many people don’t keep track of when to swap it out, brands are looking to keep consumers healthy by delivering a new brush with accompanying essentials right to their doors. Three subscription smile services we really like: Boka, quip and Tulip, all of which have their own style and offer different items.
In addition to a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss, Boka ($14.50 every three months) also gives you the option of adding single-serving packets of organic mouthwash to your box for an extra charge—you can store them in your desk at work or throw them in your purse for a night out (bonus!).
Tulip ($12 every two months) offers a toothbrush and the choice of two different toothpaste flavors (mint and coconut mint, both of which taste really good), as well as floss.
And quip—you’ll love its chic electric toothbrushes that give your vanity a major upgrade—charges one upfront fee between $25 and $40 (depending on the option you choose) and then $10 every three months after. You get a toothbrush in the color of your choice (the gold is my personal favorite), a full-size toothpaste and a travel toothpaste.
The convenience is unbeatable—let’s be honest, most of us aren’t setting phone reminders for when it’s time to ditch our toothbrush, but it’s a critical step to keeping your mouth bacteria-free and maintaining good oral health.
