Three Lip Glosses Are Better Than One

I’ll be honest, I really don’t like lip gloss. I hate the sticky, gooey feeling that many tend to give me. That’s why I was a little hesitant to try the Bellápierre Cosmetics On The Go Lip Gloss Trio ($35) when it came my way. I know, I know…how can a woman not like lip gloss? But give me a second to redeem myself.

Bellápierre offers three different colors to choose from that are all tucked into one handy set. I like that you can pop this trio into your purse and use either one, no matter where you are. It’s a great product to take when traveling if you want to cut down the size of your makeup bag, but still have a few options.

You can choose from “Champagne,” a pink beige, “Sweet Rose,” a rosy plum and “Vanilla Sunset,” a golden red. All of the colors are really natural looking when applied, so if you’re looking to add a lot of color to your lips, than this probably isn’t your best bet. Even though there wasn’t much of a difference between the shades, other than the “Sweet Rose” which was a tad lighter, I would probably pick out “Vanilla Sunset” as my favorite because it gives my lips a slight rosy color.

I must also say that this lip gloss set has changed my opinion. It doesn’t feel thick and goopy, but rather leaves my lips feeling hydrated, which is probably because it’s enriched with natural ingredients like vitamin E, jojoba, honeysuckle, avocado and sunflower waxes. It also leaves a light subtle sheen instead of the mega watt, overdone shine that I dislike. Needless to say, this trio will definitely have a place in my beauty regimen from now on and if you’re not a lip gloss fan, maybe you should give it a try too.
