Just in time to help you achieve your summer body goals, there’s a new Instagram account that will inspire you put down the junk food. But if you’re thinking it’s relying on ugly colors, photos of clogged arteries or scary warnings to deter you from picking up that Snicker’s bar, you’re wrong. The account, @caloriebrands, takes some of the most well-known food packaging and removes the brand name, instead putting the food’s calorie count right front and center. Would you still cave in to a tub of Ben and Jerry’s Caramel Chew Chew if you knew it has 1,200 calories? Or what about a jar of Nutella clocking in at 4520 calories? Judging from hundreds of shocked and depressed comments, this might just be the wake up call we need.
