It’s official: coconut oil is no longer a trend, it’s here to stay. And while we all know that the oil can cure, help or treat pretty much any beauty snag we might run into (seriously, if you don’t know, read up here), but what you may not realize is that the efficacy of any coconut oil depends heavily on how it’s produced. So when I heard about Cocovít Coconut Oil ($38), I couldn’t be more excited. While the design of this stunning line is what first caught my attention (it’s a good day when Nordstrom decides to carry coconut oil), learning about the background and quality of the product within the packaging is what got me hooked. Before I go any further, I know what you’re thinking—“$38 for a jar of coconut oil that I can buy for $6 at the grocery store?”—but hear me out.

Unlike the majority of coconut oils on the market, Cocovít doesn’t use any heat or chemical solvents in its heatless extraction process from its fresh, organic coconuts and the oil is always pressed within 24 hours from being removed from the tree. In lay terms, the process allows the brand to keep the coconut oil raw and untouched, maximizing the ingredients and benefits the oil has become so popular for. Translation: This is the most nourishing and hydrating formula you can get your hands on.

If the pure, potent coconut oil wasn’t enough, the brand’s line also includes a TSA-friendly version of the oil (because trust me, you need two), a Coconut Charcoal Face Mask ($38) that exfoliates skin and absorbs excess oil while the coconut oil deeply hydrates skin naturally, an Orange + Basil Lip Balm ($14) that not only smells like a dream, but also works to smooth even the most chapped lips with a mixture of the coveted oil, shea butter and essential oils, and a Facial Mist ($32) that uses—you guessed it— pure coconut oil, aloe vera water, witch hazel and dead sea salt (to name a few) to instantly make you feel like you’re on vacation while gently hydrating skin.
So whether you’re eyeing the face mask, thinking about adding the facial mist to your beach bag permanently or keeping a bottle of the coconut oil on your vanity (finally, a coconut oil that’s pretty enough to showcase!), my advice would be to run, not walk, because these will be flying off shelves stat.
