In the ‘90s, style icon Gwen Stefani turned an Indian tradition into a big beauty trend by wearing a bejeweled bindi. This season, about a decade after Gwen got girls to stick gems on their foreheads, a major designer is bringing the bindi back in a much more skin-friendly way.
Louis Vuitton has introduced Bindi Sunglasses. The glamorous, oversized frames feature a dangling quartz charm at the cut-out bridge, creating a cleverly exotic look. Unlike traditional bindis, however, these $600 sunglasses are handmade in France.
