My skin is always sensitive, and it’s currently bearing a hormonal breakout; so most people wouldn’t consider this a good time to try a new face scrub. That’s just begging for major irritation. But I was lured in by the promises of the Cosmedicine Medi-morphosis Self-Adjusting Exfoliator. (And for DailyBeauty readers, I’ll take the risk.)
The super-fine crystals in this product apparently have great instincts, formulated with a “stop-action” function that zooms in where its needed most and goes easy on the more fragile areas. As advised, I scrubbed until I could no longer detect the crystals-they essentially dissolve-and then rinsed. As I patted my face with a towel, I looked in the mirror and amazingly, my face wasn’t inflamed, angry, or even a little irked. Just smoother.
This result is right in line with Cosmedicine’s clinical trials, where all 217 participants of varying skin types reported no irritation. So as much as I like to stand out from the rest, I’m definitely glad to be like everyone else in this case.
