I’ve always felt that a good, quenching daily moisturizer that isn’t too thick but will also work magic on my oh-so-dry skin is hard to come by. So it’s a good thing I discovered the amazing Amala Hydrate Jasmine Hydrating Face Cream! It’s rich, but doesn’t leave any thick residue behind-just soft, supple skin!
I was extremely impressed to see that some of the first ingredients listed were jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter. Jojoba oil’s makeup is very similar to that of human sebum-possibly closer to our own skin’s oils then any other oil used in cosmetics-so our skin can easily recognize and utilize it. Sweet almond oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which dry skin loves to drink. Shea is an anti-inflammatory, and is also known to assist in diminishing the look of scars, blemishes, discoloration and wrinkles. Also worth mentioning is its natural UV protection.
I prefer a natural, holistic skincare approach, so I was pleased to learn that all the ingredients were of
natural origin. It was also exciting to see that 94% of the plant-derived ingredients were produced through organic farming, and 84% of the total ingredients were as well.
