This Super Stylish Organizer Is, Hands Down, the Best Way to Store Your Makeup

By ·

If you’re like us, figuring out your next beauty buy is not the problem, but figuring out where to put it, is. If your drawers and medicine cabinets are overflowing and you can hardly contain all your favorite lipsticks in those little acrylic holders, you know what we’re talking about.

Surprisingly, it’s pretty tough to find makeup organizers that look good—most options out there are clear drawers and trays, which may get the job done, but don’t register too many points in the chic department. That’s why when we came across this wood vanity from Bleach LA that looks equal parts functional and Instagram-worthy, we had to learn more.

“The idea to create this makeup organizer came to me because I’m the worst when it comes to getting ready,” says Bleach LA founder Caroline Sun. “I needed something that is efficient so that everything is in my sight to grab in one quick glance. Being that I live in an apartment, space is always limited as well and I couldn’t set up a full vanity anywhere. I had this makeshift wall shelf in my small bathroom that I turned into my makeup zone. It didn’t fit much at all and I hated how all my makeup on top would get dusty so easily. I decided to design the best makeup organizer for what suited my needs the most—something that is a space saver and can be used while standing or be used with a chair or stool, that fits every type of makeup/skin care/nail polish, keeps dust at bay, and looks aesthetically pleasing.”

The organizers, which are made to order, are 26 inches wide, 6 inches deep, 15 inches high, comes with a mirror and can hold up to 70 pounds of products. The sections are designed so there’s a place for everything. “The left door opens to two storage shelves for foundations and bottles and a lipstick holder that holds 20 lipsticks. The center of the organizer has a square drawer with an acrylic divider for storing cotton pads, swabs and small tools,” says Sun. “The top center shelf lets you show off your pretty perfumes and there’s also a space there to store taller bottles. Below that, there’s a section of shelving that’s designed to hold eye shadows or blushes and palettes to show off the colors. Finally, the right drawer has three more shelves for storing anything and two boxes for holding brushes or pencils. All in all, this unit can hold more than 100 items.”
