Most people would agree: Silly putty is one of those throwback toys from our childhood that we would love to bring back into our lives. Well, thanks to the latest makeup innovation, you finally can, but this time, in a much more adult-like fashion.
Enter: A silly putty—like product called the Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter ($32). While Bustle reports that this product was actually released several months ago, it recently surfaced on the internet when beauty vlogger Laura Lee posted a video of herself playing with the makeup compact on YouTube. In the video, the highlighter appears like any other cheek product (i.e. shimmering and gorgeous), but when touched, it moves and molds just like your favorite childhood toy.
“This is everything and more,” Lee raves after applying the highlighter with a dense brush (which Lee notes works better to pick up the thicker formula) to her cheeks. With three available shades in lavender, nude pink and bronze, stores can’t seem to keep the compacts from flying off the shelves. Currently, only Transcendence (lavender) and Kitten (nude pink) are available for purchase, but we have a feeling that won’t last long (after seeing how this highlighter looks on Laura Lee’s cheekbones, it’s easy to see why).
