Contrary to popular belief, you can still break a sweat even when you’re expecting. However, you do need to make some adjustments based on how far along in your pregnancy you are. That was the goal for celebrity fitness guru Tracy Anderson’s latest exercise DVD venture.
Anderson was inspired to create The Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Project ($50) after gaining over 60 pounds during her first pregnancy. “When I became pregnant with my first son, something that I really wish that I had was a way to stay active and have the proper tools to know what to do.”
That’s why when she announced that she was expecting her second child, she began working on this new series of DVDs. There’s one new workout for every month of your pregnancy which she filmed in real time. “We change so much throughout our pregnancy that what we should be doing in month one is very different than what we would be doing in month nine,” says Anderson.
