Priyanka Chopra

To relieve tired-looking skin and brighten her complexion, actress Priyanka Chopra swears by an easy, three-ingredient face mask. Using ingredients you can typically find in your fridge, Chopra mixes 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt, ¼ teaspoon of ground turmeric powder and ½ teaspoon of honey into a DIY face mask. Yogurt contains lactic acid that provides gentle exfoliation by dissolving dead skin cells while turmeric’s antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components provide a natural luster to the skin. The added honey nourishes skin with extra moisture while its sweet aroma makes the 15-minute wait time feel more like a spa moment than a chore.

Kristen Bell

For a natural, nonabrasive body scrub, Kristen Bell mixes 3 tablespoons of olive oil, ½ cup sugar and 2 tablespoons organic honey together. Honey is extremely soothing and naturally antibacterial, so it’s great as an acne or eczema treatment, while olive oil works to hydrate the skin and treat irritation. Sugar, on the other hand, is a natural source of glycolic acid that encourages cell turnover, resulting in fresher, younger-looking skin after use. Pro tip: Brown sugar is softer than granulated sugar, so opt for that instead.

Zoe Saldana

If dry hair is your main beauty struggle, Zoe Saldana’s at-home mayonnaise masking tip is certainly worth a try (even Christina Milian is a fan of this!). The method is simple: Wet your hair, apply a light coating of mayonnaise from root to tip and cover with a shower cap for 15 to 20 minutes before shampooing it out. While covering your head with mayonnaise might not sound like the most appealing way to achieve healthy hair, it truly works. Egg yolks in the mayo are packed with hair-repairing proteins and are rich in fats while egg whites work to remove excess oil. Mayo also contains vinegar, which is effective for balancing the scalp’s pH and excessive oil production.

Shay Mitchell

For a natural lip tint, Shay Mitchell uses beets to give her lips a rosy shade. To recreate her homemade lipstick, take one beet and slice it into half-inch chunks. Toss them into a pot and add water until the top of the beet is covered. Add in 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin (you can find this at any health food store or supermarket) before boiling the water and letting it simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Remove the beet and let the liquid continue to simmer until it has reduced to half its original volume. Finally, strain the liquid, and when the juice is cooled, dip your fingers or a lip brush straight into the pot and dab the liquid on your lips. As a bonus, you can also use the juice on your cheeks as a blush.

Christie Brinkley

Now, this isn’t exactly a celebrity hack straight from the fridge, but it’s still a good, customizable beauty trick that’ll save you some cash. Christie Brinkley’s secret, go-to concealer trick involves using two concealers: one that’s paler than your skin tone and one that’s slightly darker. The paler one is the highlighting concealer for that inner crease and at the highest point under the brow (no need to use up your eye shadow!). You can also use it near the outer corner of the eyes and near the top of the cheekbones to instantly give you a lifted look. On the other hand, the darker shade is best used on the edge of dark circles to help them disappear instantly.
