These Stay-Put Blushes Brighten Up Any Complexion in Seconds

Along with spending more time waterside and with loved ones, summer is the time to edit down our makeup routines and let natural beauty take center stage. It may sound hard and flat-out impossible to some, but it can be done, and once you try it, you may not ever want to go back to your 20-step regimen again. My personal summer routine consists of less foundation and much more blush (I even opt out of using my usual bronzer if I apply blush first...try it!). Here, six new, must-try blushes that brighten and freshen up any complexion in no time at all.

Ciaté London Glow-To Illuminating Blush ($26)

Pure-pigment blush that melts into skin combines with the perfect amount of superfine highlighter to create a radiant one-two punch in seconds. Even better, these pretty pots stay put for up to 12 hours.

NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm ($30)

You’ve heard of the original Orgasm blush (and if you haven’t, you should—it launched in 1999 and still holds the number-one seller spot in its category in the U.S.), and this new formula is sure to gain cult-classic status just the same. The peachy-pink hue is still accented by golden flecks, but the creamy formula is ideal for warmer temperatures to curb any makeup meltdowns.

5/6

LORAC Los Angeles Beauty and The Beast Cheek Palette ($28)

Including four new and exclusive shades from the brand’s Color Source Buildable Blush and Light Source Illuminating Highlighter lines (meaning each is infused with anti-aging antioxidants like vitamins A, C and E), this palette ranges in tone from a pretty rose gold to a must-have coral and is a vanity staple whether you’re a Disney lover or not.

6/6

Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush ($38)

Swirled with the brand’s popular Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder, its version of a barely there highlighter, this lineup of handmade blushes won’t budge in the summer sun and is just as pretty on cheeks as it is in the pan.
