If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my job as a beauty editor, it’s that it’s 2017 and drugstore products are really, really good. The ones below are all on-trend, formulated with the latest and greatest in technology and ingredients, and just hitting store shelves right now.

Dessange Professional Hair Luxury Salon Color Restore Correcting Crème ($10)

Differin Gel ($14)

The long-awaited over-the-counter launch of Differin Gel is finally here and available at drugstores. It is the only product as mass retailers to contain a full prescription-strength retinoid (in fact, it is the exact formula that used to be prescription only—no watering down of ingredients here). Even though it’s intended for treating acne, doctors have long been using it off-label to treat some aging concerns such as loss of collagen and fine lines and wrinkles.
