Exhale Spa

From the brand that brought energy- charged Core Fusion classes to the forefront for an inner-outer true well- being experience comes the new Exhale Deep Detox. The detoxifying therapy uses electric muscle stimulation to diminish the look of cellulite and firm and tone the skin (you’re on the table, hooked up to the machine). Then, a superrich shea butter body mask infused with circulation-boosting red pepper and nourishing sake is applied, followed by a full-body massage that incorporates ginger, rosemary and black pepper essential oils. Sound a little too scientific? According to the spa, it sort of is, as the microcurrents “force” your muscles to contract, which they say is the equivalent of doing about 200-plus sit-ups.

Turtle Bay Resort

You’d think miles of pristine oceanfront and breathtaking natural settings would be enough for someone to put their phones and laptops away, but Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore knows it’s not always that easy. That’s where the resort’s new Digital Detox package comes in. The five-night program aims to get guests out of their technology- obsessed ways with a stay in one of the property’s beach cottages, couple’s seaside massages, intimate sea-to- table dinners and in-room dining each morning. Need an incentive? The resort will reward you with a $50 room credit for depositing your mobile devices into its “phone bank” for 24 hours.

Metropolitan by COMO

When its doors opened this past March, Metropolitan by COMO, Miami Beach became the respite on never-sleeps South Beach for some peace and relaxation. Set right on the beach, the location boasts a private pool and beach cabanas, as well as a rooftop COMO Shambhala Urban Escape with four treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pool, and a juice bar that specializes in serious therapeutic drinks (there’s even some designed to flush out the liver and the spa can create a several-day juice cleanse for its guests). Like all of the brand’s locations, the spa has a total commitment to wellness, including detox- specific treatments that are specifically performed to help stimulate the body’s natural detoxifying functions.

Kamalame Cay

Kamalame Cay’s unpretentious private- island attitude makes anyone feel relaxed immediately; its serious well-being and total-health offerings make guests stay that way even after they leave. The stunning setting in the Bahamas (it’s home to the only over-the-water spa in the Caribbean) serves up an outstanding selection of treatments, including detox- specific options from holistic brand Naturopathica, and even devotes full weeks just to detox. If you can’t make the calendar dates for the retreats, the hotel will do its best to still deliver detox- specific touches like meditation, yoga, juices, and, of course, spa treatments.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

Southern California’s Omni La Costa Resort & Spa has always been health- focused and now, with the debut of its new Spa Fit offering (and partner PFC Fitness Camp), the resort is providing those looking to lose weight a more personalized program that guarantees to deliver. The all-inclusive experience combines high-intensity group training, yoga, organic nutrition plans and more with instruction from fitness and nutrition experts, and spa therapies of your choice. For a fully detoxifying stay, the resort recommends getting the 100-minute Ocean Dew Detox, a total- body revitalization that includes a body polish, mask and hydrotherapy.

Asclepios Wellness & Spa

By default, Costa Rica’s laid-back location and get-back-to-the-earth vibe doesn’t really tolerate any sort of toxicity. That’s why the always-intimate (there’s only 12 rooms) Asclepios Wellness & Spa in Alajuela makes it a perfect setting—think hillside views, an organic farm and lots and lots of yoga, homeopathy and results- driven spa treatments—to get away from it all. The “Purifying Journey” is best for those who are pretty serious about their cleanse, as the program is specifically designed to give the digestive system a rest (you’ll only eat light organic meals, you won’t be able to have coffee or dairy and the owners recommend three weeks to get the full benefits).
