In case you’ve ever worried about potential wrinkles or sagging that occurs on your face while you sleep, a Japanese company has released a new product to prevent this from happening. Tokyo-based lifestyle website, The Japanese Trend, has released its latest beauty innovation-a helmet that claims to ward off signs of aging in your sleep.
It looks like a piece of protective headgear fashioned for the sports field or the mask of a superhero, but the Pin Up! Face Supporter Mask is supposed to firm up your complexion and reduce sagging during slumber. All you need to do is bind the accessory taut around your head before going to bed, and the mask will do all the work.
How? It’s made of a special red tape designed to fight the signs of aging. The tape wraps around your face and head, forming a pattern that will draw pressure to your scalp. It’s also lined with germanium and white charcoal dots that help retain heat in your skin, warding off any sagging that could happen during sleep.
The company also has an exercising mask that aims to tighten cheeks-you simply wear it for 10 minutes a day, while opening and closing your mouth. It sounds a bit wacky, but who knows? These masks might just be the secret to anti-aging. Of course, we’ll wait to see if consumers report any real results.
