My hair recently got to the point where I realized, Wow, it’s pretty darn long. And although I like the length, its age is showing. It just looks dull, which is quite a feat for dark brown hair. Serums and creams hadn’t provided any lasting difference, and I was about to give up on having shiny hair if I was going to keep it long.
L’oreal must have read my mind, because as soon as I started considering cutting off lots of length, I spotted an ad for the newest addition to the Vive Pro line: Nutri Gloss. My current condition was right there on the page: “For long hair that’s dull.” I actually shouted, “That’s me!” at my magazine. Nutri Gloss even offers shampoo and conditioner specifically for wavy or curly hair, which I have. (They also have a combo for fine hair and damaged hair.)
But existence isn’t enough to win my vote. I purchased it immediately-it was actually my first drugstore shampoo purchase in months. After using it, I let my hair dry naturally. Hair always looks a little shinier when it’s straight, so if I detected more shine while it was wavy, I’d be sold.
Although no miracles occurred, it was easy to see that my hair looked glossier and bouncier. It will definitely postpone an above-the-shoulders haircut for a while.
