From an Emmy win to a Super Bowl performance and quite a few show-stopping red-carpet moments in-between, Sheryl Lee Ralph is everywhere—and we can’t get enough. We caught up with the Abbott Elementary star, who recently partnered with Microban 24, to find out how she keeps it all in balance.
Why this partnership?
“I discovered Microban 24 as it was being launched in early 2020 and it’s been my go-to sanitizing product to ever since. It was an easy ‘yes’ because it’s a product I use almost every day to keep surfaces in my home protected from bacteria, especially in high-traffic areas like the bathroom.”
You’ve been a constant on the awards’ circuit this year. What is the one thing you rely on when getting ready?
“I believe in taking care of my skin and not just the skin on my face, but the skin on my whole body. Cleansing, moisturizing, and hydration are all very important to me.”
You have a busy schedule. What do you do for rest?
“I breathe. Too many of us don’t do active breathing. I also do my best to drink much more water. Many of us don’t breathe enough or drink enough water! I’m also blessed to be able to enjoy the company of my family.”
What is the one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
“Be patient with yourself, and especially with others; I know it sounds odd, but everything will work out—and I do mean everything!”
A lot of people look up to you. Who do you look up to?
“I was very blessed to have wonderful parents. Their love, care, guidance, and their unconditional love of me was my North Star.”
