If it wasn’t for shapewear, I’d never wear dresses, or even form-fitting tops. But something has always bothered me: in order to get top-half control, you frequently have to smush the one area you don’t want to flatten-your chest. I dislike that “uniboob” effect so much that I’ve often chosen to go lumpy instead of letting my breasts look amorphous. Built-in bras are no better, especially when an ample bosom already makes finding great-fitting stand-alone bras a challenge.
Needless to say, I was surprised and thrilled when I came across Secret Weapons by Annette. While the entire line of this shapewear is fantastic, I am drawn like a magnetic muffin top to the high-back camisole, high-back slip, and high-back body shaper with legs. These three pieces smooth and contain all the way up to back bulges, but they are made with the bust area cut out. This way, you can wear your favorite bra-the one you know will look flattering-while getting the control you want everywhere else.
I couldn’t be happier with these Secret Weapons styles! Their brilliant design means never having to compromise in order to look slimmer and feel confident.
