One of my absolute favorite lip products of all time is Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain. I first discovered them a few years ago when I chased down a woman at Trader Joe’s with a seriously vibrant red lip and asked her what color she was wearing. She pulled out a tube of 03 Strawberry Kissed and since that day I’ve had the pleasure of owning a handful of equally impressive long-lasting colors (I’ll love you forever 06 Pink Soufflé). And at $14 a pop, they’re affordable enough to build a nice collection of smudge-proof liquid lipsticks that last for hours (and hours and hours).

From sultry reds (I see you 18 Flame Red) to 90s inspired browns (oh hey 42 Rose Wood), to aquamarine blues and greens (welcome aboard 30 Sea Mist and 31 Siren Song), there’s a shade for virtually everyone. There are so many new richly-pigmented colors to choose from, and with a non-drying formula at the right price point, they’re sure to fly off the shelves into handbags everywhere. I’ve already eyed three or four (or five) instant favorites.
