In a recent interview with Glamour, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley breaks down her acne-fighting skin-care routine, which taps a handful of hard-hitters from across the board like Zo Skin Health Oil Control Pads ($62) and iS Clinical Cleansing Complex ($44). While she credits the lineup as a whole (along with twice-monthly facials) for her clear skin, she puts extra emphasis on her all-time favorite exfoliators.

“I really lean into my AHAs: salicylic acid, glycolic, lactic,” she tells Glamour. “That’s really going to help with cell turnover and exfoliation because obviously that’s the thing that gets really sluggish. When you have acne, you have a sort of slower rate of cell turnover, and that’s why my pores get blocked.”

Aside from her potent skin-care products, the 34-year-old raves about her favorite cleansing towels, Resoré Face Cloths ($69), which she loves due to their antibacterial properties. “If I don’t get around to washing them every day, I don’t have to feel like I’m using a dirty towel… And I really like that there is still a roughness to it while it still feels really powdery and soft and cloudlike.”

Typically, Huntington-Whiteley uses the cloths after she cleanses with her two favorite cleansers: the Zo Skin Health Exfoliating Cleanser ($45), formulated for normal to oily skin, and the Zo Skin Health Exfoliating Polish ($67), a dead skin-killing product she pins as “the most intense scrub I’ve ever used.”

While these cleansers both have exfoliating properties, she also uses chemical exfoliants to help speed up cell turnover. “In the morning, I use the Exfoliation Accelerator ($70), which again has a lot of AHAs. I know this sounds crazy, and when this whole line routine was recommended to me by a facialist here in the U.K. called Kate Kerr, I was like, ‘my skin is going to fall off—you’re crazy.’ She said to just try it, and I was hooked immediately.” Because the serum leans more towards the intense side, she primes her skin with Zo Skin Health Daily Power Defense ($150) to act as a guard for her skin barrier.

Finally, Huntington-Whiteley breaks down her “favorite mask of all time,” the Biba Glyco-C Thermal Organic Pumpkin Peel ($95). “This really actually saved me through not being able to see a facialist this year. It’s a really nice at-home peel, it’s great for home exfoliating, and it’s very nourishing,” she says.
