We’ve been pining after Rachel Brosnahan’s skin-care routine since the debut episode of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Lucky for us, the star breaks down her (surprisingly simple) off-camera beauty routine in a recent video for Vogue. From sheet masks to cheek balms, her product lineup gives her the natural glow we’ve been craving this winter.
To begin, the actress dives deep into skin care. “First up, I’ve been using the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser ($14) since I was 16 years old. I have really sensitive skin and I find that using it without water keeps me even more hydrated and makes it [the cleanser] even more gentle than it already is.” Post-cleanse, she applies SK-II Facial Treatment Sheet Mask ($95 for six masks), Sisley Paris Black Rose Eye Contour Fluid ($150), Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum ($79), and the rich yet smooth Cetaphil Deep Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream ($23).
“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed little sun spots starting to come through,” Brosnahan tells Vogue as she applies the Coola Sun Silk Drops ($46). “That’s definitely from major sunburns from childhood. Yikes! I feel like there’s no such thing as too much SPF.”
Once her skin is prepped and primed, makeup is next on the roster. To avoid a heavy foundation look, the 30-year-old applies the light but effective Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer ($74). Next up: Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer ($30). “I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night, so let’s see if we can give me and extra hour or two,” she says. Then, to cover any other little red spots on her face, Brosnahan uses the cult classic NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30).
Finally, to brighten her eye area, the actress combs and shapes her brows before darkening her lashes with Sisley So Curl Mascara ($69). To finish off the video, Brosnahan lets down her shiny brunette bob before saying goodbye. Fingers crossed her next video spills all of the hair secrets.
