Every day, more and more companies are making greater efforts to go green, and that includes your favorite beauty brands. The latest player to step up is Pureology with the February 1st release of their Zero Waste Shampoo and Hair Condition packaging.

Their redesigned shampoo and conditioner bottles are made with 50% recycled post-consumer high-density polyethylene materials, while the secondary packaging is made with 100% recycled fibers. All of their bottles are 100% recyclable, and they even include a reminder to recycle once your bottles are empty, along with other tips on how to be eco-friendly.

What’s more, their highly concentrated formulas are good for about 70 shampoos per bottle. “Pureology’s new Zero Waste Shampoo and HairCondition Packaging allows consumers and stylists to use every last drop of product and the new ergonomic design featuring inverted condition bottles ensures ease-of-use,” states Shae Kalyani, Vice President of US Marketing for Pureology. “Throughout the packaging renovation, our formulas have not changed – we offer the same luxurious, concentrated formulas color-coded systems for each regimen.”

With so many brands going green, we want to know what you think. Are you more likely to purchase a beauty product if it’s environmentally friendly? Or do you buy your products solely on their performance? Tell us what you think in the *comments below.
