The year may be coming to a close, but it’s business as usual when it comes to beauty deals.
As WWD reports, Kao has announced the acquisition of Oribe Hair Care—a brand best-known for its luxe packaging, high-performing, treatment-based products and decadently scented formulas made for “the most talented salon professionals and the most discriminating customers.”
It’s not the first foray into strands for the company, as the Kao Salon Division portfolio also includes color line Goldwell and KMS. (Fan favorites Jergens, Molton Brown, Curel and Biore also fall under the overall brand umbrella.)
