Reality star Kristin Cavallari was spotted last week on the blue carpet at the Something Borrowed premiere, sporting her newest accessory. Yes, we’re talking about her new engagement ring. The soon-to-be fiancé of NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, was not shy about flaunting her new stone, not only showing off the new ring but also her perfectly manicured fingers.

Kristin’s neutral nails were the perfect complement to her embellished dress, hot pink shoes and brand new diamond. Others at the premiere, including the Something Borrowed star, Ginnifer Goodwin were rocking neutral nail shades as well.

Want to steal the look? Essie’s Bridal Collection for 2011 consists of four shades perfect for the bride, bride-to-be and all of her friends. For a shade like Kristin’s, neutral with a touch of pink, try Made to Honor. We love its versatility.

Are you walking down the aisle this summer? Here are a couple of tips for the bride, straight from Essie:

1. Start experimenting with nail color at least one month before your wed¬ding day. Try layering complementary shades starting with whites, pinks and moving to more bold colors to determine what type of Essie bride you will be. Whether you choose one perfect shade or two that are better together, you will end up with your perfect hue!

2. Treat yourself to weekly manicures and pedicures beginning at least two months before your wedding day. This will help you to ensure that your hands and nail beds are in perfect health and ready for their close up! Whether at home or in your favorite salon, be sure to keep your cuticles clean and hydrated by pushing them back and by applying generous amounts of Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil to help prevent hang nails and infection.
