Naomi Campbell’s Ageless Mom Valerie Has the Internet in Awe

By ·

It’s really hard to upstage 47-year-old modeling icon Naomi Campbell, in fact it’s almost unheard of. But it looks like the only woman who has the power to pull it off is the supermodel’s very own mother. In a recent Instagram post, Valerie Morris-Campbell, the 66-year-old mother of the living legend posted a side-by-side photo of the mother-daughter duo that shows exactly where she gets those ageless genes.

The red-carpet occasion was for the 2017 Fashion Awards, formerly known as the British Fashion Awards, where Naomi gave a moving speech during a tribute for the late designer Azzedine Alaïa. And while the award ceremony had many notable moments, it was the aging in reverse appearance of Naomi’s mom that made the biggest impression.

The model took to her own social media to praise her beautiful mom. “Mummy @valeriemorriscampbell thank you for being by side in this time, you turned 66 yesterday and you look just like my sister. I love you!!! #prouddaughter,” she wrote.

From the looks of her mom’s own social media, it’s not all entirely genetics. Morris-Campbell has shared her own skin care secret with a post earlier this year that shows her indulging in an oxygen facial. She captioned the image by stating “…there is nothing more fabulous than going to @drdzvidbacman and a having an oxygen face treatment.” Whatever treatments the Jamaican-born beauty is doing to look this good at 66, we’re totally on board, because she’s giving the quintessential supermodel a run of her money.
