One would expect the supermodel of all supermodels to know her way around a makeup bag, but as Naomi Campbell shows in her latest YouTube video, that’s not the case. Campbell has been busy building a YouTube following with her Being Naomi series in order to share more of herself with women across the world. For her most recent installment, she enlisted the help of Nigerian-American blogger Jackie Aina to go step-by-step into what it takes to get a Naomi-approved face. Here are the top 5 reasons you don’t want to miss Campbell and Aina’s beauty tutorial collaboration.

1. Naomi’s go-to makeup look involves very little makeup.
“I like shiny skin,” says Campbell during the exercise. The model says it typically takes her five minutes to get her face on and prefers a spot treatment approach over a full face. She also reveals that putting foundation on her forehead makes her feel like she’s wearing too much. To add color, the model says she prefers to apply blush to the higher planes of her cheekbones and sweeps it up to her hairline like the draping style made popular in the 70s.
2. Of all the blending tools in the world, everyday white triangle wedges are her favorite.
There was no sign of a Beautyblender on her side of the vanity and Campbell confesses to only using disposable, white, non-latex makeup wedges commonly found at the drugstore. “I’m still using these,” she says as she quickly blends in her foundation.
3. Eyebrows aren’t her strong suit and microblading is a no-go.
Campbell says her eyebrows are her Achilles heel. And because she’s still an active model and cannot alter her appearance, she can never have them microbladed. “I don’t even have tattoos,” she says. Her answer: leave it to the professionals. Because she’s so bad at filling in her own eyebrows, she says it’s a measure of whether or not a makeup artist is one she’ll work with again.
4. She never wears SPF.
For a self-professed sun worshipper, it’s alarming to hear Campbell say she never wears SPF. “I was always suntanned, I was always in the sun,” she confessed. “People who follow me on Instagram don’t realize that sometimes in the pictures they change the exposure and they think my skin was lighter. But I was always suntanned.” Aina, like us, was shocked to hear the star didn’t wear any SPF on her skin. “I only wear protection on my lips,” said Campbell. “I haven’t laid out in the sun for two years, which is why I’m paler now,” added the star.
5. She doesn’t know what setting spray does.
Aina is quick to fill her in: “It’s just like a nice way to refresh the skin all throughout the day. Keep it hydrated, keep it moist and shiny. It’s good for tired skin.” Campbell looks on nonplussed at first, but later in the tutorial Campbell gives in and allows Aina to spritz and set in her final look.
