Besides claims that they are a rip-off of another $6 lip formula and almost impossible to purchase before they sell out, there’s another big-time issue attached to Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit—and this time the Better Business Bureau is getting involved.
The organization recently released a product alert (you can read it, as well as customer complaints here), warning potential buyers that some consumers are receiving empty boxes of the “Dolce K” lip kits, with speculation that thieves are targeting them (the Lip Kits are currently being sold on eBay for more than the suggested retail price).

“Currently the BBB is receiving multiple complaints from this company’s customers claiming that after ordering and paying for products, some or all of the products are not being shipped as expected,” the Bureau wrote. “The company has informed the BBB that they confirm the weight of items shipped prior to shipping but they allege that because of highly-recognizable labeled packaging, containers are being opened and products removed.”
Kylie Cosmetics has reported back to the BBB that they will change the packaging to make it a bit more discreet.
Update: Earlier this week, the BBB slapped the company with an F review—the lowest grade a business can get. The BBB says the reason for the rating stemmed from 137 customer complaints—ranging from delivery issues to problems with the actual product—all of which can be read here.
