Supermodel Miranda Kerr has something secretive in the works this summer: A new KORA product scheduled to launch soon that takes the environmentally conscious, ECOCERT brand “one step further.”

While Kerr can’t spill the beans quite yet, the mom-of-three shares that the release has “packaging that reflects the high-quality, premium product inside, reduces waste and, in turn, creates a product that is eco-friendlier and more cost-effective for customers. I’m so happy with the result.”

“Having products that are considerate and kind to the environment is important to me. That’s why all of our products are certified by ECOCERT Greenlife (founding member of COSMOS-standard AISBL), the leader in international standards for natural and organic ingredient quality and integrity,” she says. “By having our products independently reviewed and accredited to this organic standard, every ingredient is scrutinized to ensure it is derived from natural or organic sources, sustainable and of course, deemed safe for use in cosmetic and/or personal care products.”

As part of this certification, KORA packaging is also audited and “everything must meet the standards in quality, purity, and consumer safety. Our packaging has to comply to international recycling laws. We don’t over package, and carefully select components that can be recycled.”

While she admits it’s a challenging process, Kerr says product development is a passion of hers and an area of the company that she loves and finds really rewarding and she’s taken the past few months to up her research.

“I’ve been learning more about some new ingredients, technology and innovative ways in which we can push the boundaries in certified organic skincare. I’ve definitely been thinking about new products—stay tuned!” Here’s what else Kerr has been doing during the time spent at home:

On waking up early for wellness: “I’ve been trying to keep a regular day-to-day schedule as much as possible, so I can best manage the demands of Flynn’s home-schooling, looking after Hart and Myles and also fitting in my work commitments. I find if I set a schedule and keep to it as best as possible it helps me navigate through the day with less stress. I’ve been waking up a little earlier than usual so I can have at least 45 minutes to myself before the kids wake up, I generally do a meditation and my skincare routine in that time. This helps me start the day calm, and with a positive mindset.”

On sticking to a skin-care routine: “Maintaining my skin-care routine, morning and night feels like a little indulgence for myself at this time. Just having those 5–10 minutes to myself helps me stay sane! I’ve been doing a lot of masks, as well as using my Rose Quartz Heart Facial Sculptor daily to give myself Gua Sha facial massages, this is also a great tool to use throughout the day to help relieve tension and ease pressure points. My latest obsession is the Noni Night AHA Resurfacing Serum that we launched earlier this year—I use it every single night and my skin has honestly never looked better! It’s helped with my fine lines and wrinkles, my pores look smaller and my pigmentation spots are nearly gone.”

On her social-media schedule: “Having found comfort myself in self-care practices such as yoga and meditation, I started ‘Wellness Wednesdays with Miranda’ on Instagram Live. These segments focus on wellness and self-care. I share some of the practices and tools that have helped me and that I enjoy. Each week features a different guest and practice that everyone can easily do from home. My first guest was world-renowned Kundalini yoga teacher Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa who was taught by Yogi Bhajan. I have also had Jasmine Tookes on for a 30-minute butt-and-abs power workout, Vira Tansey for a session on acupressure points to relieve tension, and Mary Helen Bowers for a ballet-inspired workout and there are many more to come!”
