In a recent interview with Goop, supermodel Miranda Kerr explains how she unwinds before head-hits-pillow, from turning on a meditation class to soaking in her tub, but her skin-care routine—she gave all the details on her p.m. lineup—is really what gets her mind right.
If she’s not meditating, Kerr is taking “a Kundalini yoga class on FaceTime when the kids are napping” she reveals. While breath work is definitely a sleep-inducer, the 37-year-old needs some time in her Sephora lookalike of a bathroom.
At 5:30, Kerr takes a bath with her two-year-old Hart and her five-month-old Myles. “This is our little ritual, and I look forward to it every night,” she tells Goop. After some baby time, it’s time to pamper her skin. First, to double-cleanse, she uses a gentle cream cleanser and removes it with the eco-friendly microfiber Face Halo Original ($22), which only requires water to remove makeup from deep inside the pores.
Next, she applies the Kora Organics Noni Night AHA Resurfacing Serum ($72) before going in with a facial oil, which she uses both morning and night to help keep her skin glowing. While all of her products are soaking into her skin, Kerr likes to soak her body in the bath, but this time without the kids.
“I make a cup of lemon balm tea with honey, tie my hair up, dim the lights, light a few candles, burn palo santo to clear the space, and play some relaxing music (I love Snatam Kaur),” she says, as she pins the Goop “The Martini” ($35) bath soak as her favorite for relaxation.
Once she’s out, she applies a gradual self tanner and puts her phone on airplane mode for the night. “Right before bed, I smooth on my Noni Glow Sleeping Mask ($48), and I don’t wash it off until the morning. It dries as a translucent veil, seals in all the moisture and nutrients from the other products, and doesn’t rub off on your pillow.”
