Meghan Trainor is going to be a very busy woman this year. Not only is she planning her wedding (actor Daryl Sabara proposed last month), but she’s also a judge on the new reality singing competition, The Four: Battle for Stardom, which debuted this week.
In the midst of all the commotion, Trainor has managed to adopt a healthier lifestyle. In a recent interview with E! News, the A-lister says she’s lost 20 pounds “the healthy way.” Her fans have certainly taken notice too, with hundreds of comments flooding her Instagram posts saying things like, “You look great, you inspire me,” and “Your hard work is finally paying off!”

Last month, Trainor told Entertainment Tonight her fiancé Daryl is the one who inspired her by introducing her to healthy eating and exercise. “I’ve been working on my health [with] my boyfriend, and, yeah, we eat good and we work out, like, every day. I work out so hard. He taught me how you can feel better if you eat healthier and exercise, even mentally.”
One workout she loves? Shaun T’s fitness programs. “I bought the DVDs. I’m obsessed with it,” Trainor told ET.
Of course she wants to look her best as she walks down the aisle—she says she pictures herself in a gorgeous white dress—but Trainor tells E! News there’s also another reason for her new lifestyle. “One day we’ll have kids—I want to be the healthiest I can be for those kids.”
