While on The Dr. Oz Show, Martha Stewart shared some of her secrets on how she continues to age gracefully. Proving her unchanged beauty evolution, the host pulled up images over a 16-year period. “You look exactly the same,” he exclaimed. We have to admit, he’s right.

So how does she do it? “A healthy, good life, and good genes,” Stewart said on Wednesday’s episode. “I mean, my mother’s skin was pretty smooth at 93.”

Getting into the specifics, she revealed that she doesn’t really sleep much, but when she gets up a 4 am every morning, she puts on a mask. “Any kind of mask. I have gingko, I have gommage, I have collagen. I have all of those masks,” she explains. “Then I go back into bed, and I leave that on until I get up to go shower. It’s very good for your skin.

She doesn’t only mask her face either. She also puts it on her décolleté, “so you look nice,” and on her hands, which most people claim age faster than any other part of your body.

She also maintains a healthy diet with a green juice every morning she makes from the organic vegetables she grows herself. She explains that she eats well on a fish-based diet and also exercises as much as she can. “This week it was four days so far,” she claimed.

When discussing her new book, A New Way to Bake, she explains the mentality she was brought up with due to strict teachers and parents. “If you’re going to teach people how to do things, you have to know how to do them, first of all, in the best way possible,” she told the host. “Nobody wants to learn from a slob.”

Martha Stewart is a lot of things—chef, entrepreneur, author—but a slob she is definitely not.
