Let’s Just Get to the Point:
This oil-based, does-everything eye product is pretty much totally unlike anything else you’ve ever tried. Apply it under your eye, on your brows, on your lashes, on your lids and the magical formula instantly makes the treated area look amazingly better.

If You Want to Know More:
One look at this beauty product and you know it’s not the standard. There’s luxe, there’s minimalist, there’s millennial pink, and then there’s Lua’s Eye Beam Oil—a sort of new-age, hippie dippy–looking vial that could just as easily be confused with a cult logo as it could be with skin care.

Alas, its purpose is to be an eye treatment—a totally affordable $20 one at that. The entire line is clean, plant-based and vegan, with this particular offering being 100-percent flower- and plant oil–based. When you roll it on, it’s clear that it’s not a watered-down, does-nothing placebo product—that makes sense, because there’s no water in it—but rather an incredibly hydrating solution that’s beyond packed with fast-acting oils. (There are 16 in all, including crowd favorites like grapeseed, jojoba, carrot, sweet almond, avocado, and even hemp seed.)

I gave it a test run at the Indie Beauty Expo in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. A combo of jetlag, very salty Chinese food and seven miles of walking racked up on the old Fitbit had my under-eye bags fully packed and me fully primed for anything that might help. I rolled on the herbal, nice-smelling concoction and immediately looked more alive. It was moisturizing enough to do something noticeable, but not to the level that it erased all my makeup in the process, plus, the rollerball applicator just kind of irons out everything on contact.

That night before bed, I did the same—including the repeat step of having more very salty Chinese food in the form of leftovers—but loaded on a bit more around my entire eye area. I woke up with zero evidence of the previous night’s sins and could have passed for sleeping 10 hours. This product is legit—so good in fact that my only complaint is that it takes some serious self-control when it comes to refraining from wanting to apply it allover my face (clearly not a strong point).
