As a writer, I swore I’d never begin an essay or article this way, but here goes: The dictionary defines caulk as “a waterproof filler and sealant used in building work and repairs.” Of course, you’d never want to put caulk on your face, but the concept could definitely be applied to skin.
In fact, it has, with Laura Geller‘s clever Caulk Pencil.
This multitasking concealer won me over, over and over! It goes on super-velvety to cover discolorations-anything from age spots to dark circles. Although the light-diffusing formula hardly needs any blending, you can do so with the sponge end.
But what makes it caulk-esque is its ability to fill in fine lines with an undetectable finish. Well, undetectable in that it doesn’t look like you filled in your lines-your smoother-looking skin is quite detectable!
Because I’m always frustrated when I can’t find a sharpener for my chunkier makeup pencils-and this pencil is the chunkiest-I especially love that it comes with its own sharpener, so I can use every last bit.
