From Mean Girls and Freaky Friday to her 2024 red carpet glow-up, Lindsay Lohan has dominated social media with her iconic red tints—whether found in her hair, her contour or on her lips. Dating all the way back to the early 2000s, Lohan has been known to gravitate toward those fiery hues. Her recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar proves that won’t be changing anytime soon.
Lohan Talks Seasonal Shades, Hair Staples and Beauty Regrets
As the warm summer breezes transform into colorful autumn gusts, Lohan’s beauty details also change. But her color palette remains true. When Lohan revealed her “iconic redhead” secrets to Bazaar, she confirmed that her love of her natural red is here to stay. “I think [I always looked up to] Julia Roberts growing up because I could relate to her with my red hair. And Julianne Moore. I think it’s the redhead thing. I’ve always liked my own hair color—I looked up to them and admired them.”
While her hair color remains the same, Lohan has updated her hair-care routine, telling Bazaar that she swears by the Nexxus Repair and Nourish Lightweight Hair Oil ($13). “I love using Nexxus hair oil,” she said. “I think that’s important. Whenever you’re on the go and have lots of products going into your hair, you want to make sure you’re reapplying something to nourish it. That’s currently what I’m using. I try not to blow-dry my hair so often if I don’t have to. I feel like washing my hair daily can dry it out, so I try to avoid doing that.”
While discussing her current beauty revelations, Lohan was candid about the beauty decisions she’s regretted throughout her decades-long career. Her biggest beauty faux-pas is one many of us can relate to. She revealed to Bazaar that she will always regret saying, “Oh, I want my lips to be bigger.”
