Ever since her Kylie Lip Kits debuted, women have clamored for the lipstick and lip liner sets. There have been waiting lists, record-breaking minute sellouts, palettes that were said to smell like bleach and even accusations that the celebutante has ripped off other matte lipstick formulations and packaged them as her own, which created a whole media stir in and of itself.
And, yet again, the 19-year-old makeup entrepreneur is feeling the heat. This time around it’s for purportedly repurposing older, more seasonal colors with just new names and slapping a higher price tag on them.

Originally part of her limited-edition lip color kit, fans all over the Internet have been posting side-by-side swatches of both the dark burgundy Blitzen shade (it was part of a four-piece holiday collection), which fans are saying looks eerily like a similar shade that was already in existence, Spice. Blitzen goes for $45 and was part of a set; Spice sells for $29 on its own.
While we don’t know if the two colors are exactly the same or not (although there’s virtually no difference that we could see other than the fact that the tops to each product are different colors), Kylie has, yet again, landed herself in another makeup debacle.
