Update 3/23/17:

It turns out Kris Jenner isn’t the only celebrity to get a last minute dye job in a sink. Jenna Dewan Tatum recently revealed on her Snapchat account that she had celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess dye her dark hair in the trunk of a car (yes, while in a parking lot) before a recent photo shoot. Ess then proceeded to wash out the dye in a kitchen sink on set before styling her hair for the shoot.

If at-home hair dying is good enough for Tatum and Jenner, it’s certainly good enough for us. Interested to give DIY hair coloring a try for yourself? Here’s an organic way to do so.

Celebrity hair colorist Tracey Cunningham tends to the tresses of just about every major A-lister in Hollywood. She’s responsible for Jennifer Lopez’s honey-toned hair, for taking Khloé Kardashian from dark to Barbie blond (as well as pretty much the rest of the family) and for constantly changing up Chrissy Teigen’s locks.

But when we got wind of how she recently colored Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner’s raven locks, we nearly fell off our chairs!

In this video, posted by Cunningham on her Instagram, shows herself and celebrity colorist Tyle Mahoney (he normally colors Jenner’s hair) during a house call at Khloé Kardashian’s house—in the kitchen nonetheless.

While it’s far from glamorous, Jenner lies down on the kitchen countertop (her legs are straight up in the air) while Mahoney washes her hair in the kitchen sink.

So for all the glamour that Jenner exudes, guess she can “rough” it at times.
