Since the moment we were introduced to Kim Zolciak-Biermann when the Real Housewives of Atlanta first aired on Bravo in 2008, she’s been all glam or nothing. Gracing our screens with her long blond wigs and perfect makeup has long been the norm, but the 39-year-old showed her fans a different side of her on Saturday, as she shared a just-as-stunning makeup- and wig-free selfie on Instagram.
“I feel beautiful with no makeup and no wig and I feel beautiful with makeup and a wig,” the mother of six wrote in the photo’s caption. “I think it’s really important to do what makes YOU happy.”

“I have ALWAYS been into skin care and my skin,” explains the reality-TV star, a no-brainer after taking one look at her complexion. But if you’re wondering how she gets her skin looking so glowy without a drop of makeup, the answer has a lot to do with her nighttime routine. “I have gone to bed maybe twice in my entire life with makeup on,” she says, which is particularly impressive when you consider the amount of camera and stage makeup that’s likely applied on a daily basis.
Zolciak-Bermann ends her open-hearted caption with advice we can all get behind: “I think it’s REALLY important to do YOU! Do what makes YOU happy! Love the skin you’re in!”
