Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to nudity—from magazine covers to social media selfies, it’s one of her favorite ways to express herself and she’s proud of it. So it true Kim K. form, it comes as no surprise that her latest beauty product, a new perfume that launches Monday, April 30, is actually—wait for it—modeled after her naked body.

“We took a mold of my body and made it a perfume bottle,” the 37-year-old reality star captioned this photo on Instagram, covered in clay modeling done by Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft.
In a later post, Kardashian posted the image below, revealing the name of the fragrance, “Body” ($60), along with nude images of her own, which quickly went viral. She also listed the notes of the fragrance, which include bergamot, mandarin, jasmine, sandalwood and amber, among others—it’s described as a “narcotic elixir” on KKWFragrance.com.
On her Instagram stories, she continued to reveal even more about the scent, with a sneak peek at the actual bottle (below) tucked inside a discreet gray box. “I thought this was such a cool box within itself that the bottle is on like a statue pedestal…like a statue in a museum.”

One look at the bottle, and I instantly thought of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, a cult-classic fragrance from the ’90s, and it turns out tons of other people were thinking the same thing. So much so, that Jean Paul Gaultier himself even posted the below image on Instagram after hearing about Kim’s new scent, with the caption: Keeping up with the fragrance’s news! #Classique #JeanPaulGaultier” Nearly 600 comments have poured in about the post since yesterday—many of them fans of the designer who applaud the rebuttal.
