Other than that time she dyed her hair red, Julianne Hough has pretty much kept her hair the same, shoulder-length blond style that its always been, which is why her latest hair change up is rather shocking for fans.

In an image posted to Nine Zero One salon’s Instagram page, Hough’s freshly cut hair was revealed Tuesday morning. “CHOPPED. New look for @juleshough by @riawna,” the post reads, explaining that friend and celebrity hairstylist, Riawna Capri, did the honors of cutting Hough’s hair.
Hough also addressed her new look on her own Instagram account, saying she had wanted to cut off frizzy ends of her hair post-dye job.
This isn’t the first time Capri has given a celebrity a major chop. Just last year she cut off Nina Dobrev’s lengthy hair into a bob—very much like Hough’s current one. Considering the edgy look is perfect for fall (and what better time to get a new look than at the start of a new season?), we can’t help but think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this look sweep across Hollywood soon.
