When something goes viral on TikTok, we dive deep into the trend to see if it’s really worth a try, but the latest product that’s popping up on our FYP doesn’t need any questioning.

TikToker Angie Batis recently posted a video showing how she covers up her rosacea—it’s a result of pre-cancer treatment—and viewers went crazy. “I’m gonna see if I can cover this up,” she says, starting with a layer of Vaseline ($2) on her skin. “Then, I went in with this e.l.f brand green putty ($12) that’s supposed to help with redness. It didn’t do anything, so save your money on that. But, then I bought the IT Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Color-Correcting Concealer Cream ($35) and applied that with a brush and then kind of buffed it out a bit with a different brush and let that melt into my skin.”

After a layer of that color corrector, her skin looked neutralized and even, but then she added another layer of product. “Now I’m gonna use the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare ($40). It does a really good job.” This product is a 2022 NewBeauty Award winner for Best Hydrating Foundation, and we use it every time we notice redness or discoloration on our skin. As an added plus, its hyaluronic acid–infused formula adds a boost of moisture to our skin.

“I have been treating my pre-cancerous cells on my skin, so that’s why it’s all red and inflamed and kind of scaley, so it’s really hard to cover. But, this brand is doing a great job.” Showing off her now porcelain skin, Batis adds, “This is my second layer of the foundation and, my gosh, I was happy with it. I went ahead and buffed it out—you can see the difference—and look at it in natural light! Way to go IT.”
