Ireland Baldwin just revealed that she got a cosmetic procedure to address a long-time insecurity about her chin. Ireland was joined by her cousin Alaia Baldwin who received the same procedure and the two spent time recovering together. Ireland revealed that the pair got FaceTite.
Minimally invasive FaceTite harnesses bipolar radiofrequency energy to tighten the deeper tissues of the lower face and neck. At first, Ireland only shared a photo of her with gauze and a head wrap saying, “hey.” Then she shared a photo with Alaia with the caption, “Cousins who FaceTite together, stay together.” She also included a shoutout to Portland, OR plastic surgeon Michael Kim, MD. Many of her followers praised her for her transparency.
This procedure doesn’t come as a surprise, as Ireland referenced it in a lengthy post about body image and internet trolls a few days earlier. In the post, she revealed that she’s not gotten work done but was planning on doing something about her chin. “A lot of you love to assume I am filled with lip filler, breast implants and botox, but even though there’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things, I am not,” she wrote.
“I am insecure AS F*** about my chin. Always have been!” said Ireland. “As a matter of fact, I am getting that fixed soon. Not going under the knife but trying an in-office procedure to see if it helps.”
