Daily SPF wear can be a hard habit to form, especially when you don’t think you need it (or if you didn’t grow up with a sunscreen-wielding mother). So we’re sorry to burst your sun-loving bubble, but whether you have light skin or dark, anyone can get skin cancer without the proper protection.
Not only is it important to wear SPF each day-even during the winter-you should reapply it often too. Many sunscreens lose effectiveness after about 80 minutes so even if you slather it on in the morning, chances are you need it again come lunchtime.
So we’re curious: Do you reapply SPF throughout the day? If so, how often? Share your stories in the *comments below.
