The shelf life of dermal fillers depends on which one is used and where it’s injected. Results from collagen fillers, which are normally used on the lips and forehead, can last between three to four months. Hyaluronic acid fillers, commonly used to restore skin’s natural moisture, results last from six to twelve months. When looking for more permanent solutions, look to laser hair treatments, where 90 percent of patients treatments saw a reduction or complete removal of unwanted hair.
