Something To Bat Your Eyes At: Eyelash Transplants
By NewBeauty Staff |
Longing for lush lashes, but don't care to mess with globs of glue and tricky falsies? You don't have to. There's a relatively new procedure out there that can solve your problem forever.
Just like men have hair transplants to cover bald spots and fix receding hairlines, we can use hair from the back of our heads to give us long, sweeping lashes. There are only a handful of surgeons trained to do this, and it is relatively costly-about $3,000 per eye- but it's growing in popularity.
What they do is take 30 to 40 hair follicles from the back of your head and transplant them to the lash line. Your lashes will be fuller, but there is one downside to consider: the hairs will grow like hair on our head would-faster than your natural lashes-which means you'd have to trim them.
