Preview How You Will Look With Botox

A cosmetic enhancement of any kind can be a scary thought, even if its results are temporary, like that of injectables and fillers. If you’re considering getting Botox injections but just can’t imagine what you’ll look like sans frown lines between your brows, a new app can paint you a better picture.

Allergan, the company behind Botox Cosmetic, has released an app that allows you to visualize what you could potentially look like after Botox treatments. The free iVisualizer tool transforms your portrait to a post-Botox state so you can visualize what you’ll look like after injections.

“Botox Cosmetic comes up in conversation with my patients on a daily basis,” says New York dermatologist Gervaise Gerstner, MD. “Patients want to improve the appearance of their glabellar lines (frown lines) but don’t want to look like they have had work done.  [This new tool] allows me to show patients first-hand how Botox Cosmetic may improve the appearance of their glabellar lines.”

Give it a try, and let us know how you’ll look with Botox. iVisualizer is available free for your iPad now. If you do decide to get injections, make sure your injector is an expert.

I have the brow furrows, frown lines, 11's whatever name we give them from suffering with migraines for the last 20+ years of my life! I finally was given a medication, Inderal, to prevent them and it works! I sure don't need an app to see what I'd look like without them, even though they have unfortunately have become part of me, I'd do anything to get rid of them! Entered to win UltraLuxe MicroVenom Collection and have my fingers crossed I win it since Botox and filler, etc. are inaccessible to me at this time! I'm dreaming of getting rid of these nightmare lines!

Like this idea, and love the tech and innovation from Allergan US, however I have always felt that perhaps these Visualisation tools can give unrealistic expectations of patient results and outcomes.
