It's no secret that most women have an idea of what they want their wedding to look like long before they're even engaged. And what they want to look like themselves is no exception-many brides also add “bridalplasty” to their to-do lists. These woman opt for a wide variety of procedures from small cosmetic treatments like fillers to plastic surgery procedures like liposuction before saying “I Do.”
In fact, Newport Beach, CA, plastic surgeon Tenley Lawton, MD, revealed that she sees as many as five brides-to-be every month. And who could forget the reality show “Bridalplasty” on E! Entertainment Television where brides competed for different procedures before getting hitched. But it turns out they aren't the only ones who want to look their best on the big day.
The latest wedding guest to hop on the cosmetic procedure bandwagon is the father of the bride. Fox News recently reported that plastic surgeons have seen an increase in fathers going in for procedures like neurotoxin injections and other fillers before assuming their aisle-walking duties.
