Twenty-three-year-old Taylor Krauss has some very succinct advice for anyone considering getting a nose job: Trust the process.
“I got rhinoplasty because my nose had been previously broken, and I had a deviated septum that was interfering with my sleep.”

As she explains, before she went to Smithtown, NY, facial plastic surgeon James C. Marotta, MD, for the surgery, there was a point where it hurt to touch certain parts of her nose because of how the break had healed.
“Looking at pictures of myself, I couldn’t stand the unevenness of it—it looked like I had two different noses depending on what side you took a picture from! By the time I finally decided to have the surgery done, I had wanted it for about five years. It completely changed my life.”
It’s that kind of result that Dr. Marotta says is so satisfying. “Taylor told me she was bothered by her nose her entire life.
