Cosmetic dentists are now offering state-of-the-art procedures that eliminate the need for multiple treatment sessions, making your appointments more comfortable and worthwhile.

Ceramic reconstruction computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing, also known as CEREC or D4D CAD/CAM technology, enables dentists to create inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers in a single appointment, without temporaries and follow-up procedures.

Your dentist will first use the proprietary 3-D software, which employs a digital camera and computer, to take a picture of your teeth and create a virtual model of them. While you wait, he or she will design the tooth restoration onscreen, matching it to your natural tooth shade. The CEREC milling unit will mimic your dentist’s rendering, producing and exact restoration that is ready for bonding in less than 20 minutes.
