When the Oscars (and every other major award show) comes around, a variety of behind-the-scenes snippets always tend to surface—these usually involve a makeup artist’s kit for the night or what celebrities do to prep before his or her glam teams arrive—but it doesn’t take a genius to realize that so much more goes into the jaw-dropping glamour walking down the red carpet than just a few dabs of lipstick, a spritz of hairspray and whatever else fits into an Instagram photo’s dimensions.
This year, Heidi Klum let fans in on what this prep really entails via a time-lapse showing her hair and makeup transformation from start to finish.
